Cross Country Allied seeks a Respiratory Therapist Registered (RRT) for a travel assignment in Farmington, Connecticut. The role focuses on adult respiratory and cardiac care across ER, ICU, medical-surgical floors, telemetry, and psychiatric units. You will work 12-hour daytime shifts, 7:00 a.m.

to 7:00 p.m., 36 hours per week, with every-other weekend, on-call and holiday requirements. Active NBRC/National credentials, BLS, and RRT license are required, with 1–2 years' experience and EPIC

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through NBRC or equivalent.
• BLS certification.
• RRT license; minimum of 1–2 years of relevant experience; EPIC experience; travel experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory care to adult patients.
• Float to different departments: ER, ICU, medical-surgical, telemetry, psychiatric, NICU as applicable.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate respiratory therapy.
• Be adaptive to a dynamic environment with on-call responsibilities.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Active Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) or equivalent, BLS certification, RRT license; minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience; experience with EPIC electronic health record system; required travel experience.
• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., every other weekend, with additional call and holiday requirements.
• Additional Information: Must be able to work in emergency room, intensive care unit, medical-surgical, telemetry, psychiatric, and neonatal intensive care units if applicable. Highly desired: Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Candidate must be able to float to different departments within 30 miles and work overtime as required.
