American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center in Spokane, WA. The role requires 2+ years of experience and an active Washington state RRT license, with nights and 12-hour shifts.

The assignment is travel-based for 13 weeks, 36 hours per week, with 3x12 hour nights and a patient ratio of 1:11. On-call is not required, and floating between units may occur.

Formación

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred
• Active Washington state license required in hand at submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Experience with ventilator management including BiPAP, CPAP, and weaning from mechanical ventilation
• Experience with airway management including extubation, suctioning, and tracheostomy care/management
• Experience with medication delivery systems and various respiratory medications
• Experience interpreting Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Emergency Department and Pediatric work setting experience preferred
• Experience with trauma and rapid response preferred
• 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Teaching hospital setting

• Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel employee
• Local candidates accepted at a lower bill rate within a 50-mile radius
• Candidates must disclose any prior work history at this facility or health system
