Job summary

Focus Staff seeks a Traveling Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week assignment in Mcalester, OK. The role features 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week, and a travel contractor status with flexible pay depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a respiratory therapist in clinical settings.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NALS/NRP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and recommend treatment plans.
• Provide respiratory care for critical and complex cases.
• Perform endotracheal tube insertion/removal as needed.
• Document promptly and accurately; ensure patient safety.

Focus Staff is seeking a traveling Respiratory Therapist to help us provide quality patient care during this COVID 19 Crisis. As a member of the Respiratory Team, develop and ensure the patient plan of care in collaboration with physicians, registered nurses, and other therapists. Contract Assignment – 13 Weeks (Temporary)

Shift: 3x12 Nights

Requirements

• Proven experience as Repertory Therapist
• Maintain current CPR or BCLS certification.
• BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NALS, or NRP preferred
• Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients and families
