Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist; mechanical ventilation and critical care experience; proficiency with inhaled medications, noninvasive ventilation, arterial puncture, inhaled nitric oxide, and heliox; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required for candidates with neonatal intensive care experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Neonatal intensive care unit experience preferred.
• Additional Information: The role supports intensive care, neonatal intensive care, emergency, inpatient, and therapy settings. Patient populations include neonates, infants, adults, and geriatric patients. Clinical responsibilities may include management of respiratory failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, asthma, postoperative cardiac surgery care, pneumonia, congestive heart failure, sleep apnea, acute respiratory distress syndrome, prematurity, and COVID-19. Typical patient volume is approximately 812 patients every four hours. Equipment may include Drger V500, VN500, Evita XL, Carina, Philips V60, and V30 ventilators. A virtual interview is required, and the skills checklist must be submitted with the resume as one document.
