Description

WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a prestigious hospital in Rochester, NY. Travelers can earn up to $2,232 per week for this role.

Job Function:

• Night Shift.
• 7pm - 7am.
• Monitor and interpret electrocardiogram (EKG) readings to assess and track patients’ heart performance.
• Analyze EKG results to identify abnormalities and establish patient baselines.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Respond promptly to cardiac emergencies and provide life-saving interventions as needed.
• Educate patients on discharge instructions, including medications, lifestyle changes, and follow-up care.

Job Requirements:

2 years of experience as a Telemetry Registered Nurse.

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.

Current RN license in the state of New York.

BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association required.

Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
