Talent4Health is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Job Description & Requirements

• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Employment Type: Travel
• Monitor patients’ cardiac rhythms and recognize changes using telemetry equipment.
• Perform regular patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
• Respond to changes in patient condition and provide appropriate interventions.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and care instructions.
• Document patient care, observations, and responses clearly and accurately.
• Ensure proper functioning of telemetry equipment and report malfunctions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for patients.
• Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
• Uphold patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in emergency situations and follow appropriate protocols.
• Support and supervise nursing assistants or other support staff as needed.
• Maintain current licensure and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS).
