Healthforce is seeking an RN for a travel stepdown assignment in Helena, MT. This 13-week temporary role starts 11/15/2026 with 36 guaranteed hours per week and 12-hour night shifts (12x3) across stepdown/ICU units, using Epic EMR for charting.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, med administration, hemodynamics monitoring, and interdisciplinary collaboration. Housing assistance and travel support available.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in state where practicing.
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience; travel experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certification are required.
• Epic EMR experience or ability to learn quickly.
• Ability to float to multiple units as needed; strong communication and critical-thinking skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver direct patient care in the stepdown environment, including ongoing assessment and monitoring.
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures per orders and care plans.
• Monitor hemodynamics and respiratory status; intervene and escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate Epic EMR documentation reflecting current status and care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds and care planning; participate in discharge planning.
• Float between medical/surgical units and stepdown/ICU as required; uphold safety and infection control.

Overview

Registered Nurse – Stepdown in Helena, Montana. This travel, temporary assignment begins 11/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,004 to $2,127 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12-hour nights, 12x3. Work in a clinical care environment with floating to stepdown/ICU and related units; Epic EMR is used for charting.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures per physician orders and care plans.
• Monitor hemodynamics and respiratory status; provide appropriate interventions and elevate as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR; ensure charting reflects current patient status and care provided.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds and care planning; participate in discharge planning and family communication.
• Float between medical/surgical units and stepdown/ICU as required; uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.
