Healthforce is seeking a Registered Nurse (Med Surg) for a 13-week travel assignment in Helena, MT. Start date 11/15/2026; shift is 12-hour nights on a 12x3 rotation in an inpatient medical-surgical unit.

The role requires a minimum of 2 years Med Surg experience, prior travel, BLS, Epic EMR proficiency, and the ability to float between units; weekly pay ranges from $2,101 to $2,152 with 36 hours guaranteed.

Qualifications

• Med Surg experience: minimum 2 years.
• Prior travel experience required.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to float between medical and surgical/oncology units.
• Proficiency with Epic EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult Med Surg patients within an inpatient medical-surgical unit.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments; monitor for adverse effects.
• Monitor patient conditions, document in the EMR (Epic), and report changes to the care team.
• Collaborate with the interprofessional team to plan and adjust the patient’s plan of care; participate in rounds and discharge planning.
• Float between the medical floor and surgical/oncology units as assigned; maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios and follow unit protocols and safety standards.
