Job summary

FirstChoice by Trinity Health is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for part-time mobile staffing across MercyOne Waterloo Medical Center and surrounding locations in Iowa. The roles offer 3x12 day shifts, premium pay, and flexible scheduling with travel opportunities.

RNs must hold an accredited nursing degree, an active RN license in the applicable states, and meet experience/credential requirements per specialty (ACLS, TNCC, BLS, PALS through AHA).

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license in the applicable state(s).
• Minimum eighteen (18) months of recent clinical experience for Med Surg, Tele and PCU.
• Minimum two (2) years of recent clinical experience for all remaining specialties including Critical Care, Surgical Services, Maternal Services, Emergency Department and Behavioral Health.
• Required credentials per specialty (e.g. ACLS, TNCC, etc). BLS, ACLS and PALS must be obtained through American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout the hospital and/or multiple locations/regions.
• Apply nursing process: Assess, Identify outcomes, Plan, Implement, Evaluate.
• Act independently within license and scope of knowledge/experience.
• Maintain accountability for decisions and outcomes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve quality and outcomes.
• Embrace new ideas and manage competing priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:
