Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking Registered Nurse (OR) for a travel assignment in Concord, NH. This temporary position runs 13 weeks starting 10/12/2026, with 4x10-hour shifts and weekly pay in the OR suite of a high-acuity facility.

Candidates must have an NH RN license, 2+ years OR acute care, and Cerner EMR experience is preferred. Local pay options apply for within 50 miles; willingness to cover holidays is required.

• Minimum 2 years OR acute care experience.
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; other EMR experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the OR across multiple specialties and assist with case management.
• Maintain sterile technique, assist instrumentation, suctioning, labeling, and counting products and specimens.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other OR staff; verify patient identity and perform time-outs; ensure patient safety throughout the procedure.
• Prepare and check equipment, ensure readiness of supplies, and support documentation in the EMR; Cerner experience is an asset.
• Adhere to licensure verification requirements and ensure up-to-date licensure; readiness to provide RTO requests at submission.
• Focus on efficient, high-energy turnover in the OR; support coverage across cases as needed within the OR.
• May float within the OR as required; not assigned to other hospital departments.
• Note: must have minimum OR acute care experience and be comfortable with a wide range of case types; traveler may be requested to work holidays as needed.

• Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrumentation, suctioning, specimen labeling, and counting products and specimens
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other OR staff; verify patient identity and perform time-outs; ensure patient safety throughout the procedure
• Prepare and check equipment, ensure readiness of supplies, and support documentation in the EMR; Cerner experience is an asset

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required at submission; license verification will be performed
• Minimum 2 years of OR acute care experience; please specify years of experience in each specialty in the notes
• Ability to circulate across multiple surgical specialties and support the OR team
• Cerner EMR experience preferred; other EMR experience may be considered
• Local candidates within 50 miles eligible for local pay; RTO requests must be included at submission
• Must be energetic, self-starting, and able to adapt with limited orientation
• Must be able to work 2 of 3 major holidays as part of the assignment
