HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an OR travel assignment in Atlanta, GA. This 13-week position offers 10-hour day shifts four days per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week and a start date of 10/05/2026.

You'll support perioperative care in a hospital OR and participate in a renewable schedule. Responsibilities include patient assessment, maintaining sterile fields, assisting surgeons and anesthesia teams, and documenting care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Georgia (active) or eligibility.
• OR/perioperative nursing experience; level 1 trauma exposure and neuro/vascular skills valued.
• Availability for 10-hour day shifts, four days per week, with call, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency with scheduling tools Outlook, Workday and ShiftWizard; access on electronic devices.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; ability to adapt to a fast-paced OR environment.
• NO BLOCK scheduling experience preferred; strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide perioperative nursing care across the OR, including patient assessment, monitoring, and response to intraoperative events.
• Prepare and maintain the sterile field, assist surgeons and anesthesia providers, and manage equipment and supplies for procedures.
• Support complex cases requiring neuro and vascular skills; collaborate with the surgical team to optimize patient safety and outcomes.
• Participate in call, weekend, and holiday coverage as required by the assignment.
• Document care and intraoperative findings in the patient record; use scheduling and documentation tools in real time.
• Demonstrate competency with electronic tools and apps used for scheduling and workflow, including Outlook, Workday, and ShiftWizard; access these apps on approved devices as needed.
