HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for a Med Surg Tele unit in Needham, MA. The assignment runs for 8 weeks starting December 7, 2026, with 72 guaranteed hours biweekly on 12-hour rotating days/nights and every other weekend/holiday rotation. Epic experience, MA license, and BLS/ACLS are required.

Registered Nurse - Med Surg Tele (Travel)

Weekly pay: $2,468–$2,623 per week

Guaranteed hours: 72 hours biweekly

Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (days and nights), every other weekend and holiday rotation

Setting: hospital-based Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care in a Med Surg Telemetry unit, including ongoing assessment, monitoring of vital signs, and timely escalation of changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and angio-therapy per policy and physician orders
• Monitor telemetry and respond promptly to arrhythmias or deviations in patient status
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other disciplines to develop and revise care plans; participate in discharge planning and patient education
• Document assessments, treatments, and outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic)
• Support patient and family education about diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• 2+ years of Med Surg Tele experience
• Epic experience required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Ability to perform 12-hour rotating shifts (days/nights) and every other weekend and holiday
• No float requirement
