Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in good standing (state licensure as required).
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association; NIH Certification required.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for adult medical-surgical patients under physician and care-team direction.
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, respond to changes in status, and document findings.
• Administer medications and therapies per orders with accurate charting and safety adherence.
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and allied health professionals to implement individualized care plans.
• Monitor for complications, perform basic procedures within scope, and support discharge planning and patient education.
