• Notify MD/NP of pertinent information and coordinate changes in care.
• Admit and discharge patients as appropriate for a long-term care unit.
• Assist with activities of daily living and mobility needs.
• Provide specialized care, including gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, nebulized treatment, wound VAC care, CPAP support, and tracheostomy care.
• Perform other assigned duties related to long-term care within the hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Hawaii Registered Nurse license active by start date (HI license must be held by assignment start)
• If not currently licensed in Hawaii, must apply upon acceptance and obtain HI license prior to start
• Ability to perform the responsibilities listed and work in a hospital-based LTC unit
• Must arrive the Thursday before start to complete employee health appointment per policy
• Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
