Job summary

Berlin, VT – Registered Nurse – Long-Term Care (LTC) travel assignment starting 11/09/2026 for 13 weeks. Shifts are 12-hour nights (3x12) in a LTC nursing home setting, with travel through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, medication administration, routine assessments, care plan updates, dementia care, and cross-unit float; holiday coverage is required (2 of 4 holidays).

Qualifications

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience.
• LTC experience required.
• Prior travel experience required.
• Floating to other units as needed.
• Comfortable caring for residents with dementia.
• Holiday coverage: must work 2 of the 4 holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents per physician orders.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor responses and document in the chart.
• Conduct routine assessments, update care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Care for residents with dementia, applying appropriate safety and behavioral support strategies.
• Float to other units as needed to support patient care and unit operations.
• Participate in holiday coverage (must work 2 of the 4 holidays) and adhere to unit staffing needs.
