HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse for an ICU travel assignment in Lawrenceville, GA. This 13-week contract starts 11/09/2026 with 12-hour day shifts, three days per week, and guaranteed 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Nursing degree from an accredited program (ADN or BSN)
• Ability to work 12-hour ICU shifts and participate in a travel assignment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside nursing care to critically ill adults in the ICU, delivering evidence-based interventions per physician orders
• Continuously monitor patient conditions, interpret cardiovascular and respiratory monitors, adjust care plans, and respond to changes promptly
• Administer medications, including high-alert drugs, and manage life-support equipment in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
• Participate in rounds, communicate patient status, and document care and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and support staff to implement care plans and ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control
• Anticipate patient needs, advocate for patients and families, and elevate concerns to the charge nurse or physician as appropriate
