Qualifications

• Current RN license in California required.

• BSN preferred; ability to work night shifts and travel.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care for ICU patients using the nursing process.
• Collect and analyze data, assess health status, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and promptly recognize and respond to changes in condition.
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team and collaborate with patients’ families in a supportive manner.
• Supervise and direct activities of assigned nursing staff as needed; ensure a safe, healing environment.
• Document care and outcomes in the electronic medical record (Epic) and participate in discharge planning and patient education.
