Qualifications

Current RN license in Alaska or another US state and active at submission.
BLS certification is required.
Minimum 2 years of primary care experience.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical nursing care in outpatient ambulatory setting.
Perform triage, patient assessments, meds administration, wound care, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing.
Support clinic operations and patient flow for efficient workflow.
Maintain inventory and report safety hazards.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical nursing care in the outpatient ambulatory setting, collaborating with providers and staff to ensure timely, high-quality patient care.
Perform triage, patient assessments, medication administration, wound care, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing with proper quality controls.
Support clinic operations including patient flow and the opening/closing of provider service areas to maintain efficient workflow.
Maintain medication inventory and essential supplies not listed in centralized inventory systems; report safety hazards and equipment issues.
Document all care and services accurately in the patient record; complete nursing duties professionally and in a timely manner.
Communicate effectively with other departments and participate in ongoing staff education and in-service activities as assigned.

Requirements

Current full, unrestricted RN license in Alaska (or another U.S. state) with active license at time of submittal
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Minimum 2 years of primary care experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Proof of influenza vaccination required
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced outpatient setting
