Job summary

Healthforce is seeking an RN with cardiac focus for a 13-week travel assignment in Lodi, CA. Night shifts are 6:30 PM–7:00 AM, 3x12s, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a start date of 11/09/2026.

You will deliver nursing care, supervise staff, and coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring patient safety and high-quality outcomes. This short-term assignment includes credentialing support and dedicated recruiter assistance.

Qualifications

• : Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice (California) or applicable state
• - Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; CPR as applicable
• - Experience: At least two years of recent experience in the field; acute care experience preferred
• - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• - Specialty: Cardiac nursing experience preferred
• - Skills: Ability to work the listed shift and 36 hours per week; EPIC experience preferred
• - Other: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for an individual or assigned patient group using the nursing process
• Supervise and direct activities of various levels of nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines
• Collect relevant health data, assess needs, and develop a care plan to achieve outcomes
• Implement the plan, administer prescribed therapies, monitor progress, and adjust as needed
• Document care and patient data in the electronic health record; ensure accuracy and privacy
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team; participate in discharge planning
• Provide education to patients and families; promote a safe, healing, and compassionate environment
• Delegate and coordinate duties of the healthcare team; participate in continuous improvement efforts
