Cardiac catheterization involves inserting a catheter into a chamber or vessel of the heart. It can be used for diagnosis or treatment. Cardiac Cath Lab Nurses assist doctors during these procedures. Specializing further in coronary catheterization, which involves coronary arteries, allows you to work with state-of-the-art cardiac care technology.
