Job description

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Travel Registered Dental Hygienist to work at facilities in London, Marysville, and Dayton, OH. This is a registry position with our company.

Shift:

7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., weekday flexibility

Rate:

$42 per hour

Description:

This is a 13-week registry role requiring travel to three different facilities: 1-2 days in London, OH, 1-2 days in Marysville, OH, and 1 day in Dayton, OH.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
  • Ability to build rapport with patients
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor
  • Familiarity with medical terminology
  • Valid and current CPR certification (American Heart Association)
  • Up-to-date credentials and Ohio Dental Hygiene license
  • Hepatitis B vaccine record
Job Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning teeth and beneath gum margins using dental instruments
  • Examining for indications of oral cancer by feeling lymph nodes
  • Reviewing patient medical history
  • Using probes to examine periodontal health
  • Recording dental decay and disease for diagnosis
  • Examining gums for signs of disease or sores
  • Exposing and developing x-ray films
  • Sharpening and sterilizing dental instruments
  • Applying fluorides and decay prevention agents
  • Collaborating with dentists and dental assistants
