Innovative Refrigeration Systems, Inc. is seeking a traveling Service Technician to repair, maintain, and support industrial refrigeration equipment for customers across North America. A strong background in commercial and industrial refrigeration and electrical controls is required.

The role follows a 10‑day tour schedule, typically 50–60 hours per week, with every other Friday through Monday off. Pay ranges from $30 to $60 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ of relevant experience required (supermarket/rack/industrial refrigeration systems).
• Knowledge of controls and electric (high and low voltage).
• Universal EPA certification.
• Motor alignment experience.
• RETA 1&2 certification preferred.
• Company is a tobacco-free workplace and, as such, no tobacco products are allowed during the workday on the jobsite(s).
• Position requires a pre-employment drug screening, felony screening, and motor vehicle record screening
• This position is a safety sensitive position and will require pre-employment and regular drug testing

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintenance support for industrial refrigeration equipment (100 HP–5,000 HP) in food, beverage, and cold storage.
• Perform routine and emergency service on ammonia and Freon refrigeration equipment.
• Use knowledge of screw and reciprocating compressors, electrical troubleshooting, and control/alarm systems.
• Adhere to all safety policies and governing requirements.
