Job summary

Millennium Health is seeking a Full Time Female Specimen Collector II in Mansfield, OH. You will collect urine and oral fluid specimens, process and package them for shipping, and act as a liaison between clinics and the laboratory, ensuring accurate documentation.

Ideal candidates have 6+ months in specimen collection or 1+ year in medical patient support, with strong customer service and tech skills. Position requires travel and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience as a specimen collector or 1+ years in medical field supporting patients
• 2+ years of customer service experience can substitute for medical experience
• Proficient with smartphones and computers
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation
• HIPAA/HiTrust and compliance awareness required
• Ability to maintain cyber security controls

Responsibilities

• Collect patient urine and/or oral fluid specimens
• Process and package collections for shipping
• Serve as intermediary between practice/clinic and laboratory
• Record patient information, physician orders, and lab details
• Resolve specimen concerns with billing or patient information in the ordering portal
• Maintain collection supplies inventory onsite
• Observe collection for Millennium Health specimens when applicable
