Qualifications

• Knowledge of PCBA assembly methods and processes.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards.
• Open to becoming certified, already certified, or previously certified in IPC-A-610.
• Minimum 3 years of PCBA Inspector/Assembler experience in electronics manufacturing or related fields.
• Ability to read PCB assembly schematics and circuit diagrams; identify electronic components.
• Proficient in documenting Certificates of Conformance (COC).
• Strong organizational, communication, and software adaptation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual PCBA inspections and verify paperwork at client sites.
• Verify PCBA products meet quality and specification standards, including placement and solder joints.
• Inspect soldering, orientation, and placement per design and IPC-A-610 standards.
• Confirm shipping documentation is legible and accurate (part number, serial number).
• Review documentation packages to industry standards and classify defects.
• Interpret manufacturing drawings and circuit boards to identify non-conformances.
• Periodically verify accuracy and maintain productivity to meet production schedules.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area organized and compliant with safety regulations.
