Job summary

Rockford is seeking a Construction Project Manager to plan and supervise a diverse set of construction projects from start to finish. You will organize the construction process, coordinate a team of professionals, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while maintaining quality and safety.

The role emphasizes collaboration with architects, engineers, and internal finance teams, with a focus on cost control, scheduling, and proactive risk management.

Qualifications

• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks.
• Superior oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Minimum of three years commercial construction experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost control.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project planning, execution, and delivery from contract award to final handoff.
• Develop and manage project budgets, cost controls, and forecasting.
• Establish and manage project schedules using MS Project, Procore, or Primavera P6.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, preconstruction, estimating and procurement teams.
• Negotiate and administer subcontracts and vendor agreements.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with design and schedule.
