Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a busy physician office.
• Travel required; valid driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program.
• BLS required within 90 days of hire.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic administrative medical assisting functions.
• Obtain patient history, chief complaint and vital signs.
• Schedule and coordinate referrals and monitor appointments.
• Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
• Prepare and maintain patient files; manage charting and scanning.
• Assist with medications and immunizations; maintain records.
• Answer phone lines and coordinate with patients and pharmacies.
• Provide excellent customer service.
