Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; trade school or related education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a mechanical technician in a related industry.
• Ability to read mechanical assembly drawings and basic electrical diagrams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to drawings, work instructions, change orders, and documentation.
• Complete project documents such as checkout sheets and test records.
• Test and troubleshoot sub-assemblies or machines to verify operation and conformance to specs.
• Mount sensors, cameras, motors and electrical devices; install cables and route to terminations.
• Collaborate with technicians, engineers, project managers and staff to resolve issues.
• Train and assist new employees as needed.
• Maintain safe work habits and a clean, safe work area.
• Perform miscellaneous duties such as cable assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, packing/shipping.
