Job summary

Keller Technology Corporation is seeking a Mechanical Assembler for our Charlotte area facility. You will assemble mechanical components per drawings, use hand and power tools, and help test sub-assemblies to ensure proper operation and conformance to specifications.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of 3 years as a mechanical technician, can read drawings, and are willing to travel to customer sites as needed. Strong safety habits and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with a variety of mechanical assembly tasks and tooling.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites (domestic and international) as needed.
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components according to drawings and instructions.
• Prepare checkout sheets, test documents, and follow work instructions.
• Test and troubleshoot sub-assemblies for correct operation and conformance to specs.
• Mount sensors, motors, cables, and route wiring as required.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to resolve issues.
• Train and assist new employees; maintain a clean, safe workspace.
