Job summary

Ask IT Consulting Inc. seeks an IT Trainer to support the Georgia DOT, traveling to training centers across the state. You will develop materials, deliver courses, and coordinate training schedules for a variety of IT applications and systems.

The role requires strong IT training experience, excellent communication, and the ability to travel regularly within Georgia. You will work with a team to ensure effective knowledge transfer and user readiness for IT deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related discipline.
• 4+ years developing IT training materials for applications/systems.
• 4+ years experience in IT training and train-the-trainer.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT projects to design and develop learning materials.
• Create training presentations, guides, and tutorials for multiple media formats.
• Update materials based on user feedback and IT version changes.
• Manage training schedules and registrations in the LMS.
• Coordinate external vendor training sessions at Georgia DOT centers.
• Deliver training courses, webinars, and on-site sessions.
• Build relationships with IT and business stakeholders to address training gaps.
• Assist managers and developers in explaining complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Support product launches and go-lives with user training.
