PGTEK is seeking an Infrastructure / High-Performance Computing (HPC) Support Engineer to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting HPC infrastructure within enterprise and government data centers nationwide.

The successful candidate will travel 100% Monday through Friday to customer sites across the United States, with home weekends. Salary range is $90,000-$100,000, and the role requires strong Linux experience, rack deployments, and the ability

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in enterprise data center infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on rack and stack deployments and cabling.
• Experience with Linux servers (RHEL/Ubuntu) and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, and support HPC infrastructure at customer data centers nationwide.
• Install, position, level, and secure racks, cabinets, and hardware.
• Rack, stack, cable, and configure servers, storage, networking equipment; perform topology-ready tests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, OS, and infrastructure issues to restore service quickly.
• Document deployment activities, configurations, and findings.
