Job summary

LUX Infusion, based in the United States, is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse for Home Infusion. The role involves inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs for therapies, coordinating staffing, and ensuring accurate nursing documentation.

You will travel to patient homes, supervise care delivery, and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations. Strong communication and multitasking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college.
• Current state RN license required; two years nursing experience in other states a plus.
• IV certification and central line care experience.
• Experience with medical terminology is preferred.
• Home care, critical care, emergency nursing, AIC or hospital discharge planning.
• Able to multi-task, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule nursing visits using the nursing process in accordance with RXs and protocols.
• Coordinate SOC and ongoing nursing visits with patient and Nursing Agency/RN.
• Ensure schedule is communicated via email to the team.
• Enter Therapy Admin reports and email to team.
• Review nurses notes for accuracy and completeness, including drugs and times of administration.
• Maintain continual communication with families, supervisors and field staff regarding patient needs.
• Communicate problems to referring MD and relevant staff; ensure coordination with LUX Infusion nursing.
