Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking a Per Diem Home Infusion Registered Nurse to provide direct home infusion nursing care in patients' homes, with travel within New York. The role requires an NY RN license and IV certification, along with strong clinical skills and independent work capability.

Responsibilities include coordinating with physicians and care teams, documenting notes, and ensuring compliance with regulations while delivering patient-first infusion care at home.

Qualifications

• RN license in New York and at least two years of RN experience
• IV certification and central line care experience
• Strong medical-surgical, phlebotomy, and venous access knowledge
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent assessment, documentation, organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Provide direct home infusion nursing care by inserting, monitoring, and removing IVs
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions and document all activities
• Perform venipuncture and manage venous access including PICC/port/midline
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe home infusion therapy
• Coordinate with physicians and care teams for scheduling and handoffs
• Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations and privacy standards
• Drive within the state to patient residences and facilities
• Bring reliability and strong clinical judgment to independent home care
