Job summary

Terra Oilfield Services seeks an experienced equipment technician to diagnose and repair a mixed fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and diesel-driven pumping packages. You will read manuals and schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and document work completed.

The role requires travel to job sites, after-hours support on occasion, and strong communication with field personnel and management. A valid CDL and reliable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience diagnosing and repairing a mixed fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and diesel-powered equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to independently diagnose problems and complete repairs with limited supervision.
• Ability to read service manuals, electrical diagrams, hydraulic schematics, and parts breakdowns.
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and documenting completed work.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Willingness to travel to job sites and support occasional after-hours or weekend breakdowns.
• Sound judgment, dependable attendance, and clear communication with field personnel and management.
