ProAutomated is seeking dynamic field engineers who love travel and hands-on work. You’ll join a team that partners with system integrators and manufacturers to ensure flawless startup and commissioning of automation projects across North America.

Starting salary ranges from $60,000 to $75,000 depending on location, education, and experience. The role includes per diem, mileage reimbursement, and performance-based bonuses, with extensive on-site training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must love travel and be comfortable with extended time away from home.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking helps in field work.

Responsibilities

• Support data center startups and perform on-site mechanical, electrical, and control checks.
• Lead startup, checkout, and acceptance testing for warehouse fulfillment and manufacturing systems.
• Collaborate with automation and controls engineers to test and validate systems on-site.
• Provide clear updates to customers and project teams to keep progress smooth.
