Job summary

Kiewit is seeking an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to support field operations in the Bridge & Marine District. The role spans field engineering, office engineering, and estimating activities across a dynamic construction environment in the Pacific Northwest.

Travel and relocation may be required as projects span multiple locations. Ideal candidates will have 0–1 years of related construction experience, strong reading of drawings, and proficiency with Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organization and time management with attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in interpretation of drawings and specifications for field crews and craft supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and assist in job cost data collection.
• Assist in preparation of work plans, packages, and field surveys.
• Support in the maintenance of daily reports, RFIs, and submittals.
• Coordinate material deliveries and supervise field operations as needed.
