Job summary

Kiewit Bridge & Marine, headquartered in Vancouver, WA, seeks an Entry Level Field/Office Engineer to join our Field Operations team. You will assist with interpreting drawings, perform takeoffs, support surveying, and help prepare work plans on large-scale bridge and marine projects across the Pacific Northwest.

Ideal candidates have 0–1 years of construction-related experience, strong communication, and the ability to travel and relocate as required.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of related professional experience in construction or field operations.
• Ability to travel and relocate as required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Interpret drawings and specifications for field crews and supervision.
• Perform quantity takeoffs and measurements for work.
• Assist in preparing work plans and packages.
• Support field surveying and layout including elevations and control points.
• Assist with daily labor timesheets and JHA preparation.
• Coordinate material deliveries and schedule work groups on site.
• Supervise field operations as needed.
