Responsibilities

• Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain staffing levels and respond to workload changes.
• Collaborate with workers and managers to resolve work-related issues.
• Review work throughout the process and at completion to meet standards.
• Transmit and explain work orders to laborers for clarity.
• Verify material specifications against information in work orders.
• Inform designated personnel of items loaded or problems encountered.
• Evaluate employee performance and prepare performance appraisals.
• Perform the same duties as supervised staff or assist with advanced tasks.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports on time, wages, receipts, and inspections.
