ForTecMedical in Asheville, NC seeks a Clinical Technology Specialist to support advanced surgical technologies and ensure patient safety. Comprehensive training will be provided to enable you to thrive in this role.

Primary responsibilities include setting up equipment for surgeons, conducting preoperative checks, sterilization, and documentation. You will transport devices to care facilities and travel occasionally while upholding safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and weekend coverage.
• Professional demeanor and team-oriented mindset.
• Must meet credentialing requirements including immunizations.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with no major violations.
• Ability to lift and move medical equipment over 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, and move for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surgical technologies; provide equipment guidance to surgeons and staff.
• Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, calibrations, and documentation.
• Load and transport surgical technologies; occasional overnight travel.
• Follow safety practices and laser safety techniques.
• Meet customer needs and maintain strong professional relationships.
