Job summary

Brasfield & Gorrie, LLC, a leading General Contractor in the Southeast, is searching for Assistant Project Managers to join our teams. Candidates should have experience in road, water, and industrial sectors, and a willingness to travel and/or relocate.

The ideal candidate will assist in project management, including document control and budget support, while possessing strong communication and organizational skills. A bachelor's degree in construction or engineering is required.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or similar role.
• Experience on construction projects preferred.
• Willingness to travel and/or relocate, as both may be required.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, review, and scope subcontractor and vendor bids, quotes, and related contract specification sections.
• Administer subcontracts for area of responsibility including payments, insurance, and safety.
• Review and understand contract documents (plan and specifications).
• Assist with project start up, including obtaining permits and licenses.
• Lead responsibility for project document management and project controls.
• Manage a portion of project scope including civil, structural, and mechanical.
• Create and manage tracking logs including concrete and rebar.
• Support the project manager with budgeting and reports.
