Job summary

DiaMedical USA is seeking a Production and Installation Technician for our Farmington Hills, MI facility. The role involves producing and assembling simulation training equipment, servicing, and installing at client sites both domestically and internationally.

The job requires attention to detail, ability to read blueprints, and willingness to travel up to a week or more. A high school diploma or GED is required and prior shipping/receiving or construction experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and dimensioned diagrams.
• Must have driver’s license and be cleared for domestic and international travel.
• Able to operate hand and power tools and use ladders.
• Push carts and pallet jacks as part of material handling.
• Must be dependable and willing to work weekends/overnights for installs and service.
• Experience in shipping & receiving or construction is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts according to blueprints and dimensions using wood/metal and provided tools.
• Secure items to pallets and load materials for shipping.
• Assemble, disassemble, and reassemble items per customer specifications.
• Report KPIs (build time, time to completion) to management.
• Report project successes and failures during projects to the team.
• Maintain inventory and perform cycle counts for supplies.
• Attend warehouse/home office meetings and present information as needed.
• Perform off-site installation at client locations (domestic and international travel).
• Interact with customers and site liaisons; sign for deliveries at warehouse and customer sites.
• Handle deliveries for accuracy and damages; support other duties as assigned.
