Job summary

Prime Partners is seeking an Alarm Technician to install and support fire, security, and access control systems on commercial project sites across the country.

You will perform full system installations, wiring, testing, and project documentation, with travel for extended periods and competitive hourly pay. Knowledge of Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, Notifier, Bosch, DSC, or Honeywell is preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience installing fire alarm, security, and access control systems.
• Experience with project-based installations, not just short service calls.
• Knowledge of alarm panels including Silent Knight, Fire-Lite, Notifier, Bosch, DSC, and Honeywell.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Install and support fire alarm, security, and access control systems on commercial sites.
• Perform full installations including panels, devices, wiring, and end devices.
• Pull, terminate, test, and label low-voltage cabling (18/2, Cat5e, Cat6).
• Install control panels, keypads, mag locks, door contacts, sensors, and readers.
• Read blueprints, riser diagrams, and project documentation.
• Test, troubleshoot, and Commission systems during closeout.
• Collaborate with project teams, leads, and site supervisors.
• Maintain installation documentation and daily work records.
• Travel for extended projects while maintaining tools, PPE, and safety.
