Job summary

American Traveler, LLC. is hiring an X-Ray Technologist for a 13-week evening shift assignment in Ohio. Requires 18 months of recent experience, active AHA certifications, and a permanent Ohio license (compact licenses acceptable for starts 1/1/23 and forward).

The role includes 4x10 hour evenings, every other weekend, with no call or holiday requirements. Candidates must pass a 10-panel drug screen and complete background checks and fingerprinting prior to start, with vaccination requirements

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel.
• Active AHA certifications required at time of submission with nothing pending.
• Permanent Ohio license required at time of submission (license required if applicable); compact licenses accepted for starts 1/1/23 and forward.
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty is required.
• Negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) required within 12 months of start for non-nurse/non-CST travelers, updated annually.

Responsibilities

• Radiology/Cardiology X-Ray Tech unit.
• Evening shift, 4x10 hours, 2:00 PM to 0:30 AM.
• Every other weekend required.
• No call or holiday responsibilities.
• Uses Epic, Syngo, and AGFA EI PACS systems.
• GE and Shimadzu X-ray rooms with Carestream portable units.
• Facility does not accept any open background check cases or professional license hits.
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only.
• PAPRs are not considered an alternative for facial hair except with an approved agency medical or religious exemption.
• Badging and onsite fingerprinting must be completed at the facility prior to start date.
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of signing contract.
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date.
• Extensions allowed up to 18 months total, followed by a required 6-month break before returning to any Cleveland Clinic location.
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday.
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate.
• Travelers may only be submitted for one job at a time within the Cleveland Clinic Health System.
