Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic radiology procedures and support patient care in a fast-paced healthcare setting. You will work with radiology staff to ensure quality images and adherence to safety protocols.

The position requires completion of radiology education, state licensure as needed, ARRT certification preferred, and strong communication with patients. Travel assignment across facilities may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent certification is required.
• Radiology Technology degree may be required by state or contract.
• ARRT license preferred and state licensure if applicable.
• CPR, HIPAA familiarity and patient confidentiality are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiologic procedures across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Prepare and process paperwork and computer records.
• Analyze scans, discuss results with patients and radiologists.
• Maintain equipment, supplies and department safety.
• Verifies patient identity and orders prior to exams.
