American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration and CT certification for a hospital radiology department in Denver, CO. The candidate must have an active license, BLS certification, and at least 1 year of radiology experience, with proficiency in Microsoft Office.

The role involves diagnostic X-ray procedures, EPIC charting, and patient positioning with ALARA safety. Shift is 36 hours weekly (4x9h) with rotating weekends; supervision of students may be required.

Qualifications

• ARRT registration required.
• CT certification required.
• BLS certification through American Heart Association, must not expire before start date.
• Active license required (if applicable)
• Minimum of 1 year experience in radiology required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn relevant applications
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively within a multi-functional team
• Date of birth and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Responsibilities

• Radiology department setting performing diagnostic X-ray procedures
• Day shift, 4x9-hour shifts per week totaling 36 hours
• Schedule includes rotating weekend shifts per posted pattern
• Uses EPIC for charting
• Requires use of a personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter)
• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and transfer
• Operate and maintain X-ray imaging and related equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast per radiologist protocol
• Follow ALARA radiation safety measures to protect patients and staff
• Evaluate image quality and submit images to radiologist for interpretation
• Practice sterile technique and follow infection prevention policies
• Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting
• Maintain open and responsive communication with patients, coworkers, radiologists, and leadership
• Returning Intermountain employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for this assignment
