Job summary

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray for an acute care hospital assignment in California. The role requires ARRT (R), BLS, and at least 1 year of experience, with proficiency in fluoro and general radiography.

The 13-week shift is 5x8 hours (1:00 PM – 9:00 PM) with alternating weekends. You will work in diverse settings across adult inpatient and ED, using Epic charting and multiple imaging systems. Free parking and travel support provided.

Qualifications

• ARRT (R) certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• Compact state license must be in hand at time of submission.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required.
• Experience in community hospital settings preferred.
• Epic charting experience required.

Responsibilities

• 13-week assignment in the X-Ray department of an acute care hospital.
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
• Every other weekend coverage required.
• Performs general radiographic procedures including abdomen, chest, spine, upper and lower extremities, and skull imaging.
• Performs fluoroscopy studies including barium swallow, contrast enema, and arthrography.
• Performs mobile and surgical imaging including C-arm procedures, portable chest, and portable abdomen.
• Works across adult acute care, outpatient, ED, ICU, OR, and bedside/portable settings.
• Equipment used includes GE, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba, PACS, and O-ARM.
• May be required to float between sister facilities near the contracted location.
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays.
