The ideal candidate holds a two-year radiologic technology program, valid state registration, and ARRT certification, with 2+ years of experience preferred, especially in critical care.

Qualifications

• Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
• Completion of a two year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
• Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for diagnostic imaging exam.
• Produce x-ray films of body parts for diagnosis (cancer, fractures).
• Instruct patients on correct positions for accurate images.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain patient-focused, timely, compassionate care environment.
• Promote a safe work environment for staff and customers.
