AMN Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Radiology Technologist for a travel job in BROOKLYN, New York.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: Radiology Technologist
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8 hours, days
• Employment Type: Travel

Start Date: ASAP

Available Shifts: 8 D

Pay Rate: $2940.70 - $3222.25

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other devices, adhering to policies and protocols.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images promptly while providing excellent patient care.
• Adjust equipment settings such as compression, exposure modes, and others to ensure optimal images.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams, recognize discomfort or medical issues, and respond appropriately.
• Guide patients through procedures with kindness and answer questions.
• Respond to physician inquiries regarding patients.

Required Qualifications:

• NY License
• Hologic Experience
• ARRT Certification
• BLS Certification
• 1 Year of Experience

Documentation needed for Mammo Techs:

• Copy of NY license
• Copy of current ARRT card
• Mammography registry certificate (or ARRT documentation showing registry date)
• 8 hours of digital training
• 8 hours of tomosynthesis training
• 15 CME's in mammography
• Initial 40 hours of training/attestation
• Current 200 mammography stats

Preferred Qualifications: Seasoned Traveler
