Job Summary:

The X-ray Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment, ensuring high-quality images, and maintaining patient safety and comfort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and position patients for X-ray procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
  • Operate and maintain X-ray equipment, following safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Capture high-quality diagnostic images for physician review and diagnosis.
  • Verify patient identity and review medical history prior to procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, imaging logs, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
  • Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Perform routine quality control checks on equipment.
  • Comply with all federal, state, and facility-specific guidelines and safety procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
