Job summary

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in New Britain, CT. The role involves performing advanced imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety, and collaborating with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality diagnostic results.

Requirements include one year of radiologic technology experience, an active radiography license, and current BLS certification. ARRT certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year's experience as Radiologic Technologist.
• Current Radiologic Technologist/Radiography license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS Certification (AHA/ARC).

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about imaging procedures and answer questions if they arise.
• Prepare and operate advanced radiologic equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Maintain equipment and sterilize the room in which procedure takes place.
• Evaluate images for quality, present images and preliminary findings to physicians and health care team.
• Document all imaging procedures and technical details accurately in patient records.
• Follow hospital safety rules and procedures including infection control and radiation safety protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of Radiologic Technologist practice.
