Job summary

HealthForce Healthcare is seeking a Travel Radiology Tech for a 13-week assignment in Clearlake, CA. The role requires dual-modality imaging capability with CT and carries a 36-hour guaranteed week with a 4x10 day shift pattern (8:00 AM–6:30 PM).

Required licensure includes California RT, ARRT (Radiography) and ARRT-R, plus BLS. Two additional advanced modalities certification is preferred; an Associate degree is required and a Bachelor’s is preferred. Travel and housing support provided.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent radiology tech experience required.
• Must be licensed in California (RT) and ARRT certified in Radiography; ARRT-R certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging and CT examinations per orders, ensuring image quality and patient safety.
• Operate and adjust radiography and CT equipment; maintain protocols appropriate to patient size and exam.
• Conduct mobile radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging as needed; assist radiologists and other team members.
• Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; assist with patient positioning.
• Safely prepare and administer contrast agents; monitor patients for adverse reactions and manage safety procedures.
• Maintain and test equipment, including defibrillator checks and crash cart readiness; document procedures in the Epic EMR.
• Coordinate with the imaging team to meet departmental goals and ensure accurate, timely reporting.
